''Cepaea vindobonensis'' is a species of medium-sized air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod in the family Helicidae. The scientific name is derived from the Celtic settlement Vindobona, now known as Vienna, the capital of Austria. ==Distribution== Distribution of this species is Pontic and Pannonian.〔 Lisický M. J.
